We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our public sector clients! They are currently looking for a SC Cleared VMware Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join their team on a rolling 3 month contract and be based on-site in either Farnborough, Warwick or Corsham

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
Skilled VMware Infrastructure Automation Architect required to understand low level designs, create and implement build scripts, conduct testing and validation for a on-premises VMware infrastructure. The following technology will be used to automate infrastructure as code - Terraform, Ansible and PowerShell DSC. Collaboration and guide architects and clients to outline best practise to deliver Windows and Red Hat Linux virtual machines as code. Potential for scope to include other virtual infrastructure and network devices.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

- Proficient in writing, deploying and troubleshooting Terraform Configuration files,
- Proficient in writing, deploying and troubleshooting Ansible Playbooks/YAML files,
- Proficient in writing, deploying and troubleshooting PowerShell DSC MOFs and PowerShell Scripts
- Understanding of Integration with VMware platform
- Experience with version control system such as Git
